Training talent
for the sector →

Training is one of CENRE's essential tools for driving professionalisation, innovation and knowledge transfer in the equine sector.

With a practical, applied approach, CENRE promotes training activities and partnerships aimed at professionals, students, livestock breeders, vets, technicians, riders, associations and organisations linked to the horse. Its aim is to facilitate access to specialist knowledge, create opportunities for updating skills and foster connections between the sector's experience, research and the new needs of the equestrian sector.

The training offer is structured through courses, conference days, work placements and teaching materials, with content related to breeding, reproduction, genetics, animal welfare, handling, management, innovation and the conservation of equine heritage.

Work placements →

CENRE promotes practical learning through collaboration with universities, colleges, vocational training centres and academic institutions linked to the equine sector. Work placements allow students to become part of a real technical environment and gain first-hand knowledge of how a reference organisation operates.

The aim is to train new professional profiles, foster knowledge transfer between academia and the productive sector, and introduce students to areas such as handling, reproduction, genetic conservation, animal health care, management, welfare and applied innovation.
