On 8 October we will hold our Annual Equine Reproduction Conference at Yeguada Cartuja Hierro del Bocado, a technical meeting that brings together professionals from the sector to analyse the main challenges and opportunities of equine reproduction from a multidisciplinary perspective. The conference will be a space for exchanging knowledge and experience among vets, reproduction centres, stud farms, breeders, enthusiasts and other professionals.

This edition, devoted to the stallion and the export of genetic material, is organised in the following thematic blocks:

  • Diagnostic approach to situations of poor semen quality, by Dr Cristina Ortega Ferrusola.
  • The relationship between reproductive and sporting performance in the male, by Mr Francisco Requena Domenech.
  • Semen export: problems and critical aspects, by Dr Concepción Gómez Cuétara.

The conference will also feature a panel discussion with representatives from different areas of the sector linked to breeding, reproduction and the export of genetic material, encouraging an open debate on current and future challenges.
